Dealing with Globality

March 27, 2007

One of the challenges one face when writing internet software is globality:

  1. There are many languages in the world.
  2. There are many countries with different timezones and DST variants.
  3. There’s even several calendars in the world.

And that’s what I’m facing right now.

So. How to deal with it? You tell me. But I’m guessing some sort of cross-user customization / shared localization profiles will work best and be easiest to implement, so I’m probably going for that. Or?
